I want to start playing guitar. What is the best/easiest to start with an acoustic or electric?

with electric for sure. You need just two fingers -index and ring- on electric guitar to play many songs lol, the riffs will be there. Or with one finger too: put index finger in fourth string (from down of course) on the second fret, pulse with pick fifth and fourth string, then do the same with ring finger in fourth fret, both strings again, and back to second fret. You have Rock & Roll lolllll. You can add little finger on fith fret too, or go down one string with index in same second fret and up to fith string (always picking 2 strings)

You can do this with acoustic too, but sound is different and acoustic is more for chords (very good for Beatles themes) and you will need to use several fingers on same time and move them to another chords too.

 

I mean, with electric you can be playing fastly than acoustic. For advanced level electric will be more difficult, cos you can need use scales and practice and practice till you have hard skin lmao. And if you use spanish guitar and then electric, you really will feel the difference still more

Generally speaking, electric guitars are physically easier to play ie it's easier to fret ( press the strings down against the fretboard behind a fret) than most acoustics. BUT it's important to consider where you want to end up musically.  If you're only interested in playing music that lends itself to an electric guitar then, by all means go with an electric.  If you persevere with learning on an acoustic it will strengthen your fingers and toughen up your calluses such that transitioning to an electric will be easier. The reverse is not necessarily true.  An acoustic also gives you the option to accompany yourself on vocals in a more pleasing manner than with an electric. You may find yourself practicing more with an acoustic due to its ease of use (just pick it up and start playing) and portability.

 

 The best of both worlds is to have (at least) one of each type. But if you are a beginner and this is not an option, go with the one you will play most often because regardless of which one you choose, if you don't play it a LOT you won't progress in your abilities.
