You cannot fight the cards yet you always seem to see the best players at the final tables. LOL do they cheat?!

the skill is knowing when to bet and knowing when to fold even if you do have a good hand, is there such a thing as a random card generator in computers....i doubt it, but even the worst poker game can be played by pro's and they can still win.

Me i'm just useless at the game.

you have no control over the cards u get but u do about what u do with them. combo of luck and skill. no playable cards no amount of skill will help u . u just fold to to fold again. ( I borrowed that last bit I think).

Mostly skill that comes from knowing the game , hand strengths , odds of a draw , how you're opponents are playing. the luck is how the cards fall because that is a unknown & have no control over especially against the odds ..... but the odds win much more than luck

LUCK and SKILL.   Luck as in luck of the draw, skill as in how much guts you have to make that call.
