What are your thoughts about the Premium/Sponsor Game Ticket offer NPP is now doing?

I am just curious what you all think about the Premium / Sponsor game ticket offer after this first week of receiving it and playing the game.To win the "Best Answer" award I want a detailed answer about what you like and do not like about it.

I do think we are missing the boat here.  This  wonderful free poker site needs income from sponsors. Sure you all agree.  Well most peeps who played the sponsor games were already prem members but also took the time to reply to offers.  Well why should they now???   So there goes NPP extra income.   I would like to suggest a monthly game just for peeps who pay to be premium.  Way I see it NPP will benefit from both games then.  Happy poker to all !!!!

 

P S  - Shorter blinds would be nice so we don't have to bring a lunch.

Thank you everyone for your really great answers, Yummy won best answer for her well thought out answer with the alternative ideas on the changes she would like to see to make the offer even better. As to whether these are possible is not my decision but they do offer other options.

Having read some of the opinions of no pay poker players, I agree with Yummy's comments,a game for Premium members only would be a good idea.  I personally do not like sponsor game.

I think it is a good idea because some countries have very little or no offerrs at all for months and now it will be a lot more players than before. I agree that the game is intended to be done offers to be able to play... but what i said.

I, personally, dislike this idea.  The Sponsor game is there for a reason....for players to do a Sponsor Offer worth 25 FreeDs or more for credit to get ticket to the 10K.  It would be like giving every premium member a ticket to the 5K, 20K, 30K, etc. without having to "work" for it.  Every game has it's stipulations and it's not fair to those of us who do/have done the offers faithfully for years.  For those who have trouble with the offers, maybe a game can be set up like the 5k qual, etc and the winner gets a ticket to the 10k.  The 4+ hours of game time is a bit much, especially with the game starting an hour later due to DST.

I think it should stay as past.  10K Sponsor is to do sponsorpay ads/offers.  Was reasons we do ads all times.  Maybe make tournament for premiums.  Would be better.

Ok I think yes a separate 10k prem game on a saturday night weekly would be an awesome idea and leave the 10k alone i guess and then we would have 2 weekly 10k's

well why can't they split the difference and have a game for sponser advert users, and a seperate game for premium members only, the onlly thing about adverts is the fact that sometimes you can't click on an advert as there is no advert there....other than that i am more than happy to click ads to help the site.

Thank you for the reply Stripeland but these offers mentioned in here are from the Sponsor offers not the ads on tables and the lobby. Check out the offers page above games on the right hand side of lobby are you can see them from you account page.

its a good incentive for premium players and anyone else who wants to purchase premium...hopefully it will get more people to buy premium.
